MATHILDE MUGOT

From Monaco to Lyon, via Amsterdam and Basel, Mathilde Mugot has many musical and human encounters.

Graduated from the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Lyon and the Schola Cantorum in Basel, she began her musical studies at the Academy of Music of Monaco in the classes of harpsichord and cello.

She perfects in harpsichord, bass-continuous and improvisation with Jean-Marc Aymes, Dirk Börner, Jörg-Andreas Bötticher and Menno Van Delft. But also in baroque cello at the CRR of Lyon with Hager Hanana. The successive meetings of Elisabeth Joyé and Bertrand Cuiller mark a turning point in his career.

The practice of the cello undeniably enriches his playing and his approach to the keyboard. And it is both the harpsichord and cello that she has the opportunity from 2011, to play under the direction of Rheinard Goebel, Paul Agnew, François-Xavier Roth, Amandine Beyer, among others.

Since then, she has been attending the festivals of Royaumont, Saintes, Callas, Sospel, Jeunes Talents and Mars en Baroque. She likes to share the stage with her friends of the Orchestre National de Lyon or in sonata with the violist André Lislevand.
