Background
The name of the label refers to Seule Etoile, the motto that decorates the interior of the Hospices de Beaune. Decorated in tapestry, glazed tiles, ironwork, it is with this motto that Nicolas Rolin made an exclusive declaration of love to his wife, Guigone de Salin. (15th century)
The publisher Seulétoile, was created by Alice Julien-Laferrière and is one part of the multiple projects of the Artifices, alongside the activities of the Artifices Ensemble and The Turbine.
The aim of this publishing house is to distribute albums with creative freedom, to make young and old dream outside of the concerts and shows, and to make this music available to everyone.
